Muddy Dog Creative is not a traditional communications agency. In fact, we’re not an agency at all. Right now, we’re just a guy and his faithful pal, Duke, plugging away to provide our clients with professional, strategic communications programs. With an eye toward growth, we are setting out to chart our own course and provide a new breed of creative.

So, who is the man behind the mud? I’m Scott Kayser, a dog-lover with over two decades of political, nonprofit, and corporate strategic communications experience. I am passionate about crafting compelling communications pieces that grow your brand, build your reputation, and spur your audiences to action.

I have designed and deployed strategic communications programs for politicians, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, and businesses of all sizes. I strive to understand what motivates the target audience and speak specifically to those issues, connecting you with your audience in a way that grows your brand and meets your objectives.

Passionate about being an active and engaged citizen, Scott takes part in a variety of civic organizations. Whether through his day job as a mild-mannered technology salesman or his volunteer efforts beyond, he is committed to leaving the community better than he found it.

Behind every good man is an even better woman. That’s Kristen Kayser, educator extraordinaire! By day, she is a mild-mannered (but effusively funny) education consultant and creative genius. By night, she is a dedicated mom to two energetic boys, one overly-snuggly Great Pyrenees pup, and one overly-dependent husband. A former math teacher, high school principal, and curriculum specialist, Kristen is handy to have around when you want a thorough slide deck for a professional presentation or a quick Canva graphic to convey your message in style. She pitches in every now and again to keep the trains running on track.
